Ornamental Insights with Aaron Palmateer
Meet Aaron Palmateer, Ph.D., Senior Technical Service Representative for Bayer Ornamentals. He has more than 15 years of plant pathology experience and over 10 years working with ornamentals.
Dr. Palmateer received his doctorate in plant pathology from Auburn University and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Plant and Soil Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Prior to joining Bayer, Dr. Palmateer served as an Associate Professor and Extension Specialist of Ornamental Plant Pathology, Department of Plant Pathology, University of Florida, IFAS. He has extensive experience solving problems and providing pest and disease management recommendations for ornamental producers and landscape professionals.
