Meet the Team
Jake is responsible for the driving development of new products and technologies in the ornamentals space, and insecticides and nematicides in managed turf. Jake holds a Ph.D. in Entomology from North Carolina State University, a Master of Science in Entomology from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Entomology from Texas A&M University.
Paul provides technical expertise to golf course turf managers, helps with the transition of new products from development to market, and provides scientific thought, leadership, and education to the industry, with a focus on the Northeastern United States. Paul has a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology, Master of Science in Plant Pathology and a Bachelor of Science in Crop and Soil Sciences from Michigan State University.
Rob offers cool- and warm-season pest management expertise to turfgrass managers from the Midwest down to Texas. Rob holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy from The Ohio State University, as well as a Master of Science degree in Botany and Plant Pathology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Crop and Soil Science from Michigan State University.
Laurence has been involved in the turf and ornamentals since 1992. He oversees the Bayer Green Solutions Team, serving customers primarily in the warm-season region and specializing in an array of turfgrass pest issues. Laurence holds two U.S. patents for his work with Stressgard® and one U.S. patent for his work with Tribute® Total herbicide. Laurence received his Masters degree in Agronomy specializing on weed science.
Aaron brings extensive experience solving problems and providing pest and disease management recommendations for ornamental producers and landscape professionals. Aaron is a former Ornamentals Specialist at the University of Florida and received his doctorate in plant pathology from Auburn University, and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Plant and Soil Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
Zac is dedicated to developing science-based solutions for customers managing cool-season turfgrass, specializing in weed control for customers in the western half of the U.S. Zac is a former Turfgrass Specialist at Purdue University and University of Nebraska-Lincoln and holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy/Turfgrass Science from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Horticulture/Turfgrass Science from Iowa State University.
Frank works closely with a wide range of industry, government, and non-government organizations to help provide solutions to regulatory and legislative challenges for effective disease, insect and weed management. Frank holds a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of California, Davis.
Chenxi is focused on developing innovative product solutions in North America and globally for the Turf & Ornamentals market. He holds a Ph.D. in Crop Science with an emphasis on plant physiology from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China.
